I am parting with some real gems in my collection this week. I have to pay some bills and unfortunately this is how I have to make that happen. Parting with these is not an easy decision.. I've spent 35 years amassing this killer collection and I'm going to start selling off some to you, the lucky folks who can now proudly own them. Diamond Head Lighting to the Nations LP. Original 2nd press on Woolfe records. German import. This is NOT a modern reissue and NOT a bootleg, this is the REAL DEAL! The very first pressing of this LEGENDARY recording was self financed by the band and came in a plain white jacket with no writing. It had two printings of 1000 copies each and with little distribution. Soon after this, Woolfe records in Germany signed the band for this release on an actual label. This is the record that started it all for many bands in Europe and a few in the States (ESPECIALLY Metallica) who covered nearly half of the songs on this record! The LP is in exceptionally nice shape, no real visible markings except maybe a storage mark or two. It retains all of its original luster and looks as if it may never have been played! The cover is very sharp also, with very little wear to a couple corners and some very light creasing in spots. The cover retains all of its original gloss. This is an overall very high grade example of this historic NWOBHM album... you will not find many nicer than this!! This is a very sought after record, and is very rare to find one for sale.
