   For sale is a triple vinyl record set by Diana Ross and The Supremes titled "25th Anniversary", originally released in 1986 by Motown Records, then reissued by the Columbia Record Club for sale to its mail-order customers, as indicated by a "CRC" on the bottom of the back cover. Included with this reissue is a 12 page booklet, 42 re-mastered selections, including 20 previously unreleased recording, along with The Supremes' classic Coca-Cola commercial. According to the liner notes, these records were digitally re-mastered by John Matousek at Motown Hitsville U.S.A. recording studios in Hollywood, California. In the dead wax between these labels and the last tracks is etched  "G1", followed by the matrix numbers 1-A/1-B/1-A/1-B/1-A/1-B, signifying that this record set used very early stampers to make this album at Columbia Records' pressing plant , located in Carrollton, Georgia. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. I bought this record set used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put the three records into archival inner sleeves. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeves are all Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent because of corner blunts, stress cracks along the spine, a sticker on the lower left hand corner and a crease across the upper right hand corner. The spine has just a little color loss at the corners from these blunts. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint with shiny and bright surfaces, all in a like new condition, without any sleeve marks, surface scratches, smudges or spindle marks on the labels. This is the best copy of this album that I have ever seen and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition, especially a Carrollton Club pressing.
