Rev. Richard W. Rash, affectionately known to young people as "Brother Dick", has sung his way into the hearts of young and old alike all across the country. Born in Bluefield, West Virginia, to a very musical family, he learned to sing almost before he learned to walk and ever since has been singing as easily as most people talk. He has served the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana, as Minister7 of Music in the Bloomington, Illinois congregation and in the past few years as Minister of Youth in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. This record was made with YOUNG PEOPLE in mind, but with something in it to please everyone who loves Gospel music.....from the modern guitar stylings on ‘When They Ring The Golden Bells’ to the youthful sounds on ‘The Upper Window’ and 'Sweet By And By’. I believe with all my heart that God speaks in many ways with music being one of the most dramatic. Music, just for music’s sake, is a gross misuse of God given abilities. I thank God for people such as those at Crusade Enterprises who have dedicated their time and talents to the recording of sacred music and I would like to express my thanks to the many, many people who helped make this recording possible.
