This 1970's German pressing of 'Please, Please Me' is widely accepted by audiophiles worldwide as THE best sounding source for this album.
Stripped of it secondary cutting EQ, the sound is unmatched for clarity and presence and is as close to the mastertape as you can get.
This amazing sounding version is only present on pressings with the following matrices:

Played just a handful of times on quality equipment, the sound on this example lives up to the hype. All tracks play superbly with no trace of any groove/playwear, crackle or any audible distractions whatsoever. Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy but downgraded only due to some patternation on both sides of the disc made as a result of contact with the inner-sleeve. Apart from these harmless blemishes, the disc is unmarked and 'as new'.
