Up for sale is a stunning, beautifully preserved original 1968 white-label promotional copy of the legendary country-rock single "Why Not Your Baby" by Doug Dillard & Gene Clark.
Written by Gene Clark (ex-The Byrds) and featuring his signature, hauntingly beautiful songwriting, this rare promo is an absolute must-have piece of West Coast country-rock history.

Condition Notes:
Vinyl Condition: Strong VG++ (Very Close to Excellent). The vinyl is beautifully clean, retaining its brilliant, deep factory mirror gloss. It looks barely played, with perhaps just a faint, microscopic sleeve scuff or two visible under bright grading lights. An exceptional play and archive copy! Please review photos as they were taken under bright lights to display condition. Pics are part of the description.
Labels: Clean, sharp white promo labels. There is a small vintage blue ink signature/initial entry on the right side of both labels (looks like "CA" or "CF"), typical for radio station copies from the era. Text and graphics remain perfectly bold and legible.
Sleeve: VG+ Comes housed in its iconic, vintage pink A&M Records "Memories" factory company sleeve. The sleeve is crisp with minimal handling wear and no major seam splits.
