Item Description:

IMPORTANT: In light of recent events, I need to point out a couple of things. First off, even though I'm just a regular guy selling my collection and not a giant  mega-store, I still believe in giving excellent customer service. I'm easygoing, and I'm always willing to work with a buyer, if there is ever a problem with something purchased from me. All I ask from the buyer is that he/she deal with me in a rational manner, and I promise to resolve the problem. Secondly, since some people are either too stupid or too lazy to ask questions, and in the spirit of transparency, I should point out that I am a smoker. This is an issue for some people. If you are one of those people, you might want to reconsider before bidding on my auctions.

My grading scale: NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, Fair, Poor. So adjust your scale accordingly.

Dimmu Borgir-Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia 2x LP on Nuclear Blast Records (NB 527-1/27361 65271).

This is the original first 2001 pressing on purple vinyl. Comes with a slipmat, and a lyric insert. Gatefold jacket. The first vinyl has an etch-like imprint on the vinyl (see pictures). I assumed it was because the ink on the slipmat was not dry enough when they put it in at the factory, and it just bled into the vinyl. But, from what I understand, all 500 copies are like this. So, I'm not sure if this was intentional or not. You can hear a hiss in the lead-in and lead-out grooves, but the songs run together on this vinyl, so you only hear it at the beginning and end of each side (mostly Side 1).

Vinyl #1: is EX+ with the aforementioned hiss from the etch-like marking (mostly on Side 1), and a few light ticks. Has mild warpage, typical of vinyl.

Vinyl #2: is NM- with some light ticks. Has mild warpage, typical of vinyl.

Jacket is EX with a strong crease in the upper left corner (upper right on the back), a small crease in the lower left corner, lightly bumped right corners, and some small creases along the spines.

Lyric insert is EX with a strong crease in the upper left corner, bumped corners, and some creases from handling.

Slipmat is NM. I put it on my turntable once to check it out spinning, but never actually used it.
