I’m a full-time professional dealer in theatre and classical music memorabilia, and records are not really my specialist subject, but the six albums listed today turned up in a house clearance shop last week, and I believe some of them might be quite rare. Although they are not in mint condition they may fill gaps for collectors? They have not been professionally cleaned, and they all play with some surface noise, presumably from dust and light scratches. A few have visible marks or scratches, but these don’t appear to add significantly to the background noise. There may be occasional pops, but no jumps have been noted. I’m grading all the records from this collection as VG, but you may consider them to be better than this. Starting prices are low, but the shipping quotes assume a high selling price, including insurance, whether sent to the UK or overseas. If you win (especially for a figure less than £20) you can request a quote for a lower shipping price, with no insurance.
Columbia 33CX 1337. Chopin Piano Sonata No 3 in B minor, Op.58, and Enesco Piano Sonata No. 3 in D major, Op. 6924, played by Dinu Lipatti. The cover is in lovely condition, with just some separation of the lamination adjacent to the sleeve opening. The record is in a vintage inner sleeve.
