Description
Unfortunately one of the photographs didn’t make the trip so I canonly say both sides are as good a condition as the one that came across. Here isyour chance to own a very good condition copy of the debut first legendary albumby Dion and the Belmonts on the UK London label HAU 2194. Over the years I haveonly ever seen this album once in auction so I don’t need to say any more about scarcity. The twelve tracks are I wonder why, Where or when, You better notdo that, Just you, I got the blues, Don’t pity me and on side two A teenager inlove, Wonderful girl, A funny feeling, I’ve cried before, That’s my desire andNo one knows. The sleeve of this sixty year old record is not bad a couple ofmarks on the front cover but the other side is better. The vinyl retains itssheen while the playing surface has no serious blemishes but being sixty yearsold there are some surface hairline marks which I wouldn’t think wouldadversely affect the play quality. This is another record from my own personnelcollection which I have had since I bought it when it was released in 1958 andprobably has not been played in the last forty plus years or since I obtainedthe tracks I wanted on various CD’s. Overseas postal costs are set by theglobal shipping centre not by me so I would suggest checking with them theforwarding price first before you bid, also note that as it is very rare foritems to be lost or damaged in the post and as all goods are sent out by mewith proof of postage, I cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damageonce it is with the Postal Services.
