Description

33pm 10-track double vinyl LP of ALCHEMY by Dire Straits. It was issued on the stereo Vertigo label in 1984. UK pressing. Catalogue number: VERY 11. Matrices: A4/B3/A? (more a symbol than a number)/B3. Black inner sleeves.
The record is graded very good visually with a number of light surface marks/scuffs visible when viewed under normal domestic lighting. Methodically cleaned then play-tested on an audio-technica record player. Superb crystal clear sound quality for 99.9% of the time with just 3-4 "squeaks" towards the end of Two Young Lovers on Side Three - because of this I would grade the playback as near mint minus. As mentioned, the rest of the album sounds really nice with scarcely a pop or a tic.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. Light spider marks.
The gatefold sleeve is graded very good with light handling and storage wear. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeves have light general wear but no splits or tears - the records have been housed in new sleeves.
