Description
Dire Straits - Alchemy: Dire Straits Live, original 1984 UK double LP pressing on Vertigo. Recorded live at London's Hammersmith Odeon in July 1983, Alchemy captures Dire Straits at the height of their early live period, with extended performances of Sultans Of Swing, Telegraph Road, Tunnel Of Love, Romeo And Juliet and Mark Knopfler's Going Home – Theme From 'Local Hero'.
This is an original UK pressing carrying the SOUND CLINIC inscription in the runouts and the early A4/B3/A1/B3 matrix combination.
Condition is particularly strong. Both records are graded Near Mint, retaining superb deep gloss with exceptionally clean playing surfaces and labels. The distinctive original gatefold sleeve is EX, showing only very light signs of careful storage.
