Description

Up for your consideration is a still SEALED album of Dire Straights Communique. Communique’ is the second studio album by the British rock band. It was released on Warner Bros. Records in June 1979. The album features the single “Lady Writer”, which peaked at #45 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles chart. The album reached #11 in the U.S. and #5 in the UK. Communique’ was later certified Gold in the U.S. and Platinum in the UK and Double Platinum in France. It was their last to feature David Knopfler who had creative differences with his brother during the making of their third album. Many great tracks on this record, personal favorite.
