Notable Comments: Incredibly rare signed Dire Straits album sleeve! You'll get a copy of 'Love Over Gold' on vinyl which itself is in good to very good condition plus a second sleeve which has been signed in gold by Mark Knopfler, Hal Lindes, Alan Clark and John Illsley. The band signed a number of sleeves for promotional purposes when the album was first released and these were given to HMV in Oxford Street where I worked at the time. I can therefore certify that these are original autographs. The sleeve has evidently been hung on a wall at some time and the fixing has been removed leaving the tear shown in the picture. However thankfully this is on the opposite side to where the signatures appear - though there is slight evidence of the tear on the other side.

Our Vinyl Condition definitions:
Excellent: Virtually unplayed, very few if any marks on the vinyl and very low vinyl noise if any.
Very Good: Played and some surface noise and the odd slight click evident in run in and run out and very quiet passages but nothing detrimental to listening enjoyment. Some marks on the surface
Good: Evidently played regularly and some clicks and pops but these do not affect playing and the record does not stick or jump. There may be some marking on the record surface
Fair: Played heavily and suffers from regular clicks and pops though record still plays and does not stick and/or jump. Marking on vinyl surface very evident.
Poor: Record clicks and occasional jumping or sticking with some tracks worse than others. Heavy marking on vinyl surface.
Very Poor: Barely playable and may be only useful for completists collections.
Our Sleeve Condition definitions:
Excellent: Sleeve is in an almost as new condition
Very Good: Sleeve has some slight wear at edges and corners.
Good: Folds to corners, very worn along edges and some circular disk outlining showing
Fair: An obviously handled sleeve with heavy wear to the edges, folded corners and perhaps some tearing, circular disk outlining very evident.
Poor: Increase in all aspects mentioned in fair along with some tears to the card and/or break up/splits along edges.
Very Poor: Heavily damaged sleeve that may only be worth keeping for historical purposes or for completists.
