A rare copy of the Abbey Road Half Speed Remaster of Dire Straits - Love Over Gold in Near Mint condition.
A special Limited Edition release for Record Store Day 2022 & commemorated the 40th Anniversary of this special album ( plus 15 years of Record Store Day).
This has been played twice only, ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter, and carefully stored. It is like new only better as the Degritter removes any dust, fingermarks, & grease from the pressing plants plus static/noise is greatly reduced. We Degritter everything, even new records, before playing and the difference is astonishing.
Needless to say the sound quality is outstanding. This is clean, crisp, wide & open. Great detail with excellent low frequency and a low noise floor.The creaking door, footsteps and breaking glass in Private Investigations are really distinct in the soundstage which adds to the creepy atmospheric tension. Telegraph Road is truly majestic. Abbey Road has done a superb job of improving what was already a wonderful recording.
No playback issues whatsoever.
The record has been stored in an archival outer sleeve so the outer sleeve is as new complete with obi strip. The revised 4 page liner notes booklet is pristine.
The Abbey Road Half Speed Mastering Certificate is present.
The special Lithograph print is included & is mint.
