This copy is totally as new, perhaps better even. I have opened the shrink, inspected the LPs, washed them in the Degritter and played the album through just one time only to test. Initially i had two concerns... i read through the Dcogs reviews and a worrying number of folks have noisy copies. I could also see some mild stitch lines on the 2nd disc. Having cleaned the LPs and played through once (hence why i list this as NM and not Mint) i can honestly say i heard just one single tic/pop the entire way through. Bare in mind few setups are identical and that my recently acquired upgrade from elliptical to microline stylus has transformed how quiet my records seem to playback. YMMV but im VERY confident in this copy and with the washing done and the fact that RTI presses have been known to play quieter after two or three plays (to "polish" the grooves as it were), im sure that this will be as good as you could hope to find! With that said, i might even suggest this presents a better/safer purchase than a brand new/sealed copy.
Why am i selling? Well, im going back to digital and going on a mission to buy SACDs i missed out on from over the years which will cost me ALOT. I have grabbed the MOFI Sacd of this and it will do for me just fine. Perhaps the double 45 sounds 5% better but that could just be the colouration i enjoy from my deck! This cost me a good chunk to import and thus i am only trying to break even with the asking price.
