Up for auction is the album ' On Every Street ' by Dire Straits

This is from my own collection. Having cleared out my attic I am now selling all my records.

This is becoming difficult to find on vinyl. Includes the original inner with lyrics.

Sleeve

Sleeve is in excellent condition. There is some light wear and slight creasing to one corner. Spine is excellent with no splits on any side. Inner sleeve has small seam splits (approx 1") on each side.

Vinyl

Visually the vinyl is in excellent condition, stil retaining a nice glossy sheen. Under bright light there are one or two light marks.

Labels

Labels are in excellent condition with no spindle wear but a few small marks on side two.

I have used the 'Record Collector Magazine' grading system shown below and tried to be as accurate as possible but please note records are graded visually only as I have no means of playing them to grade them otherwise.

Record Collector Grading System

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration is sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

The use of plus (+) or minus (-) allows for items that fall between the above grades.

Postage Details

All records will be removed from their picture sleeves to avoid knifing. Records will be posted in cardboard mailers with stiffeners within 3 working days of receipt of payment.
