Dire Straits - On The Night LP (UK double, Knopfler, Notting Hillbillies, EX) 

This is an LP by Dire Straits called On The Night, released in the UK by Vertigo in 1993. 

Wikipedia:  Dire Straits were a British rock band, formed in 1977 by Mark Knopfler (lead vocals and lead guitar), his younger brother David Knopfler (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), John Illsley (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Pick Withers (drums and percussion). Dire Straits' sound drew from a variety of musical influences, including jazz, folk, blues, and came closest to beat music within the context of rock and roll. Despite the prominence of punk rock during the band's early years, the band's stripped-down sound contrasted with punk, demonstrating a more "rootsy" influence that emerged out of pub rock. Many of Dire Straits' compositions were melancholic.[3] Dire Straits' biggest selling album, Brothers in Arms, has sold over 30 million copies.[4]

They also became one of the world's most commercially successful bands, with worldwide album sales of over 120 million.[5] Dire Straits won numerous music awards during their career, including four Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards—winning Best British Group twice, and two MTV Video Music Awards.[5] The band's most popular songs include "Sultans of Swing", "Lady Writer", "Romeo and Juliet", "Tunnel of Love", "Private Investigations", "Money for Nothing", "Walk of Life", "So Far Away", "Your Latest Trick" and "Brothers in Arms". Dire Straits' career spanned a combined total of 15 years. The band originally split up in 1988, but reformed in 1991. Dire Straits disbanded for good in 1995 when Mark Knopfler launched his career full time as a solo artist. There were several changes in personnel over both periods, leaving Mark Knopfler and John Illsley as the only two original bandmates who had remained throughout the band's career.

VINYL:  EX            The vinyl is a strong EX with a few faint paper marks only. 

LABELS:  EX          The labels have a few faint spindle marks only.   There is no wear, stains, fading, sticker marks or writing. 

INSERTS:  EX+      The printed inserts are extremely nice with only a hint of corner/edge wear.

SLEEVE:  EX          The sleeve is a very strong EX as well with only slight corner/edge wear, a couple small crease marks in the spine and a small bash on the top right corner.  There is no surface wear, no fading, sticker marks or writing.

Email for combined postage rates.  I use heavy mailers with stiffeners and plastic sleeves which are included in the postage.  All items will have Proof of Postage.  Anything over £30 will be sent recorded delivery which is £0.95 extra within the UK and £5.15 in addition to normal postage charges for the rest of the world.  Special Delivery is available upon request.   This will cost more so please ask for estimated postage charges before you buy.     With apologies to our buyers, we have had to increase postage costs in response to a massive increase in postage by Royal Mail.  We still only charge what it costs us + a few pence for the cost of packing materials.

RETURNS:  Quite simple:  For any reason you aren't happy, send it back to me.  If I messed up - full refund including return postage.   If I didn't mess up - refund of purchase less postage.  Email me with anything,  I'm flexible so just give me a chance to work things out.   

ITEM CONDITION:  All items are used unless otherwise stated.  I do my best to describe everything as accurately as possible but I'm human and do get it wrong sometimes.  I will happily accept returns with full refund + postage when the item is received in the condition it was sent.  I am using the Record Collector grading guide and only visually grade.  Any records I'm not sure about, I will listen to and note in the description.
