“Jíbaro Soy” es posiblemente uno de los temas más importantes de Raphy Leavitt y su Orquesta. Esta canción es casi un himno salsero. Raphy Leavitt fue un cantante y compositor de la época de los sesenta y setenta. En estas décadas crea y desarrolla su propia orquesta “ La Selecta”. Esta canción “ Jíbaro Soy” fue de las primeras interpretaciones del eterno cantante de La Selecta, Sammy Marrero. Este es realmente un LP de colección salsera.
