Description
This is a rare set of 7 inch 78rpm picture disc records. Pressed on transparent plastic and fixed on thick paper circles, the illustrations on the discs are stunning and very vintage, cool colors. No scratches but its difficult to grade these I would say VG+ , but could be VG++ because it looks like the plastic is a bit wavy, see one of the photos where I'm holding one in my hand to reflect the light, this does not look like wear and tear but more like the plastic shrunk a bit over time. I played these discs and the needle went up and down too much for a stable read, my 78 player has a very light arm however so they might read fine on yours. Perhaps they were always meant as visual souvenirs because the way they are made is not for a long lasting product, paper and plastic together like that, but it does make them quite unique, never seen something like this. The plastic was glued to the paper but only on the edges. The sleeve is in VG+ condition with a small bit missing from one of the end sections. These are however extremely rare, so it might be your only chance to get them. The sleeve has a kind of guide illustration of Disneyland park with numbers and then at the end there's a list of what the numbers indicate. The photo of the entire booklet/sleeve spread out looks a bit uneven in color in the photo because it was hard to light the entire thing evenly with my flash, colors are vivid throughout all the illustrations.
