This is the very first original 33 rpm vinyl LP for the Disneyland Records label! A historic record for many reasons, it was originally released in 1956 from Disney's then newly created in-house record label. Up to 1956, all Disneyland's records were on other labels like Capitol and Columbia. It is also one of the very few records that features Walt Disney himself! His voice is magical in itself, talking so proudly of what he and his amazing cast had created! Basically, this is a dramatized musical audio tour of Disneyland narrated by Walt Disney himself, as he takes you to Main Street USA, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland! A set of theme music was created for each themed "land" on the album. In turn, the music for each land was prepared by different composers. Many attractions Walt mentions are long gone, so it is historic in that sense as well. It is accompanied by voices and sound effects to make you feel as if you are there!
