Sleeve type: Custom paper die cut sleeve w/band & production info printed specifically for this single.

Just when you think you, after almost 50 years of record gathering, having seen most everything, gems like this single appear. I thought I knew about the Divinyls band member’s early musical efforts but never heard of this one. Of course I never lived in Perth but still, it is a ‘grail’ of a single. No info seems to be around on the band, any other singles (none appear on any Australian label data bases) or anything about the band members.

Record Information: Features Mark McEntee on lead, rhythm guitar and vocals, Howard Shawcross on Bass & vocals and Peter Nelson on drums.

The "A" side was written by Mark & Howard while the "B" side was purely a Mark penned track.

Recorded at Armstrong Studios, Perth and custom pressed by ASTOR records.

One would imagine a pressing run of anywhere from 100 to a few hundred but not more or it would have been on their standard ASTOR label and sleeve.

From the packaging it appears to be a Western Australia/Perth area release and not intended for national distribution.

Any additional info would be appreciated as I can find nothing on the band anywhere.

I always put "Good" or "Very Good" at the top of the listing BUT read the more detailed description in the Item Description below. Ebay's definitions don't suit vinyl gradings.

All albums/E.P's sent separate from the covers and in a standard album or singles mailer. If signature/registered is desired (suggested) it usually kicks the postage about $3, depending on Aus Post. Wait for an invoice so you get the correct postage before paying.

Domestic: One album is $8.50 or items to .500gr; doubles $12-$14.00. # of LPs or mixed vinyl to 5kg total weight is $19.00. If heavier packing is requested it may inflate the postage due to the extra packing weight. If not sure let me know ahead of time and I'll weigh it up before sending you the invoice.

Singles are $3.00 ea but I can send 2 for that. Wait for an exact invoice quote before paying multiple purchases as I try to pack for safety and the best postal charge.

All singles and albums are visually graded unless otherwise noted.

All records other than those never played have some level of vinyl noise from hardly any to noticeable in spots.
