Description
Here we have a rare original copy of Dizzy Gillespie's Duets album from 1958. This album was one of the many studio albums released by Gillespie during the 1950's and features jazz heavyweights Sonny Rollins and Sonny Stitt. This particular copy is the 1st issue pressed on the black and silver Verve 'trumpet player' labels. The record is in VG condition with surface scratches and more notable scuffs. The record plays surprisingly well, particularly Side 1, with Side 2 having some pops and crackles here and there in the quieter areas of the songs. The cover is in VG-/G+ condition with old tape residue, ring wear, edge wear, and some small tears. Please see all the pictures to determine condition.
