"The Quintet of the Hot Club of France...Volume 2 Decca Album No. 334 Personality Series.
Django Reinhardt on guitar and Stephane Grappelly on the hot fiddle.
The outer album is in perfectly solid condition, not loose binding anywhere.
The four shellac records appear to be "unplayed" I am NOT offering them as such because I can't be 100% sure that my father did not play them, but he generally bought thousands of records and simply stored them away.
I usually look very carefully at the spindle hole to see any indication of "nicked" paper around the hole, or "shiny" tiny indentations in a line that would be there from someone trying to locate the spindle hole as they ran the record around the spindle.
I see none of these indicators on any of these 4 records so I think...THINK...that they have never been on a spindle...however, I may be wrong. So then, if you bid on them as "having been played" and when you get them, think as I do, that they have not been played, well then, you will have gotten a great deal, better than expected.
Take a close look at the inner sleeves, they are absolutely immaculate, not even the slightest hint of discoloring or staining, as crisp and clean as the day they were affixed into the outer covers.
Also included is the original tri-fold information booklet in full colors.
