Dock Boggs - Legendary Singer and Banjo Player - A Documentary by Mike Seeger - INCREDIBLY RARE Original 1964 Vinyl LP - Disc Records D111 - NOT THE FOLKWAYS RE-RELEASE
Vinyl is visually graded in Very Good+ (VG+) Condition or better. Cover is in Very Good++ (VG++) condition with normal edge and corner wear, minimal wear to spine, small split on bottom edge. No other markings, cutouts, stickers, etc.
This is an incredibly rare album of Appalchian folk music. Even the re-released Folkways LP version typically sells for $50 - I have never seen the original album offered for sale. From my father's estate - not likely to be seen again any time soon, if ever. Our family and the Boggs lived and worked near each other in the 20's and 30's, and on into the 1960's when this album was released.
