How we grade records\covers:
All our records are used LP’s purchased during the 60ties, 70ties and 80ties. They have all been used ? some more than others, but generally they’re in great shape. Covers will often have some wear and tear, as they are vintage antiques. We grade our records conservatively and try to be as honest in our descriptions as possible. It is also to be noted, that nearly all our record-covers have a discreet signature of the current owner as well as the year he bought the record. Sometimes the signature is found on the inside of the cover sometimes on the outside, but they are always quite small and not detrimental to the overall condition of each item, unless noted.
Records:
NM (Near Mint) record: Record is in excellent condition. The record sounds like new, no visible surface marks, plays perfectly.
EX (Excellent) record: Very few light surface marks that does not affect the quality of sound. VERY minor surface sound in some cases. Plays well.
VG (Very Good) record: Many surface marks, might not play perfectly. Sound is acceptable and decent, but there might be slight surface sound.
G (Good) record: lots of surface marks, that does affect play. These records doesnt have top notch sound quality. When they are played they might skip or repeat (we’ll describe how and when). We only sell records in this condition if they are very rare collectors items. Some records are so rare, that having them in a collection is far more important than the state of the vinyl.
Covers:
Please note:
1: Nearly all our covers have a small signature of the current owner ? sometimes inside the cover, sometimes on the back of cover. Look at the pictures. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask us!)
2: Unless stated otherwise, the original jacket sleeves are not included.
NM (Near Mint) cover: Cover is in superb condition. It is second hand, but it is very hard to tell. Very little or no visible cover-wear.
EX (Excellent) cover: Cover is in great condition, with only few very light cuts and cover wear.
VG, VG+, VG++ (Very Good in three degress) cover: Cover is fine but does show signs of use and wear. It might have a bent corner or small cuts, but the overall look of the cover is acceptable and decent. + and ++ means, that the cover condition is nearing EX (Excellent) but isn’t quite there.
G (Good) cover: Cover may have split seams, bent corners, cuts and clear signs of wear. The overall cover is somewhat acceptable, although it is very easy to see the effects of use and age.
P (Poor) cover: We’re honest about our grading. These covers have indeed seen better days. They look far from great, have all imaginable cuts and bruises that 30-40 years of use can give. We only sell covers in this condition if the records they hold are in superb condition and/or extremely rare.

I've collected jazz-records since I was a teenager in the early 1960's. I've taken good care of all my records and done my best to keep both vinyls and covers in as great shape as possible. I own more than 700 records many of which are rare first-press LP's. As I've grown older and now find myself in a situation where I've repurchased most of my music on CD, I have two beautiful grandchildren I'd like to pamper even more than I already do, I've decided to sell the beloved collection of records I spent most of a lifetime assembling.
I'm neither a greedy company or a cunning salesman. I'm just a guy who loves jazz and would like to see his collection bring joy and inspiration to others.
I'm starting up on Ebay and I'll do my utmost to earn favorable feedback from all my customers!
