Description
Well... if there was ever an album that deserved a spot in a country music collection, it's this one. Dolly Parton's Jolene isn't just a classic—it also includes the original recording of "I Will Always Love You." That's a pretty impressive one-two punch.
This is an original 1974 RCA Victor pressing (APL1-0473) with the orange RCA labels. The record is included with the original outer sleeve.
Condition:
Original sleeve shows noticeable age, discoloration, staining, edge wear, corner wear, and seam splitting (please see all photos).
There is green marker writing ("59") on the front cover.
The record has numerous light scratches/scuffs and a few more noticeable scratches visible under bright lighting. I took close-up photos of the areas that stood out the most.
I am not a record collector or professional grader, so please use the photos to judge the condition for yourself.
Please Note: I haven't tested this record. Between running Guess Where Thrift as a one-woman band and trying to keep up with life, I haven't had the chance. Think of this listing as "sold with a little mystery"... except hopefully a much better ending than poor Jolene got.
