Description
Original 1987 1st Press copy of Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris - Trio.
An exquisitely beautiful album made by three of the finest voices of our generation. Sadly now minus one but what a legacy Dolly has left including this heartfelt work of traditional songs no doubt carefully selected by the girls.
This album has been produced with the utmost care and attention to detail. Mastered by Doug Sax ( nobody handled female vocals better) and then by Sheffield Lab, the sound is outstanding & audiophile quality.
The vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and has come up spotlessly clean and glossy with a couple of tiny marks, barely worth mentioning. Clean labels and spindle holes - Graded NM. This has had very little play.
Playtest reveals a smooth, warm and open sound with height and depth. The girls' voices are sparkling fresh, clear and bright - there is superb detail and instrument separation - a really engaging listen.
The vinyl plays through beautifully with no jumping or sticking - no issues.
The outer sleeve is really clean, crisp & smooth with light wear to corners & edges. Light creasing & flaking to spine - still mostly readable.
No writing, splits, stains, tears or tape.
Original poly lined lyric inner sleeve is present ( with charming cartoon illustrations) & in NM condition. We have popped the record into a fresh poly lined inner to preserve it after cleaning - you will receive both.
A super copy of a wonderful album , fully cleaned & tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable and enjoy!
We have taken lots of photos in good natural daylight so you can see exactly what you are buying. Please take a moment to look at the photos as they form part of the description.
**The vinyl will be sent separated out from the sleeve in a clear archival outer to avoid transit splits**
