Don Cherry (with Pharoah Sanders, Gato Barbieri, Ed Blackwell, Henry Grimes, J-F. Jenny Clark, Karl Berger) SYMPHONY FOR IMPROVISERS. Blue Note 84247. Stereo, recorded 1966. White and blue “Blue Note Records Inc, New York USA” label. disc play graded NM. “VAN GELDER” stamped in dead wax. Jacket is NM- with about 100 degrees total of ringwear to the white fields of reverse. Includes original inner sleeve.
Here’s the fifteenth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
