– vinyl still housed in original inner sleeve.

– Condition: VINYL: 

– visually: as with the other Don Lang record listed, although the record is USED, 

visually there are only minimal signs of wear. When angled under bright light, 

some light sleeve removal scuffs as well as some faint non-feelable scratches and the 

odd marking can be seen, but the general impression is still favourable. A spindle mark

 or two can be seen on each label. There is a touch more wear to the spindle hole 

on Side 1, but both labels still look good, and are free of such defects as writing or tears. 

– Condition: VINYL: 

– A few seconds of surface noise at the start of play on both sides consistent with what 

you’d expect of any USED record. Also, a little static and the odd ‘tick’ or ‘click’ 

in between songs, but the record plays strongly on each track, and with no distortion. 

Vocals and music are clear and well to the forefront. The odd brief ‘click’ that I noticed over

 the course of listening to the whole album did not spoil or overshadow the music. 

A few ‘clicks’ audible on The Cattle Train, for instance, and just before the start of 

Poor Old Man and The Roving Gambler. A few soft ‘clicks’, also, on Raccoon And Possum. 

Given that play is fairly consistent despite the imperfections noted above, and given that the sound

 is good with the music and vocals to the forefront, I would grade most songs between VG++ 

and strong VG++ . 

– Both sides of the record play right through without ‘sticks’ or ‘skips’.

– The cover is in Fair-verging-on-Good condition or vice versa, depending on your criteria. 

Residue (mark) from tape; marks; sellotape, top right- hand corner. Corner wear; ‘spotting’ 

inside the opening; light wear to the opening; ring wear. The laminate still has some of 

its shine. The cover is intact and fully functional. Lettering on the spine is perfectly legible.
