A rare and hard to find 1960s Jazz LP record
Don Rendell-Ian Carr Quintet "Dusk Fire" First Pressing 1960s British Jazz E.M.I Columbia Lansdowne Series SX6064 (Mono) XAX 3133 -1U, Side 1 runout XAX 3134 -1U, Side 2 runout This was the second studio album from this groundbreaking group of the 60s, It features the regular line up of Rendell, Carr, Michael Garrick on piano, Dave Green on bass and Trevor Tomkin on drums. Condition Vinyl - Excellent, it looks and plays near mint, no scratches, pops or clicks, just a little spindle marking. Cover - A few slight creases on the front and storage wear in the form of a ring. There is a scuff on the bottom right and the folded seam has become unattached on part of its length (see photos) and has a small tear. This is repairable but no repair has been attempted.. The reverse also has understandable and acceptable signs of aging, mainly in the form of ringing but the graphics and sleeve notes are clear. Inner sleeve - Intact with a little fading.
