Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped "P" pressing of Don Wilkerson Preach Brother! on the New York, USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4107. (There are no deep-groove pressings of BLP 4107.) The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated cover has the West 61st Street address and is clean and bright throughout: the two top corners are sharp, while the bottom corners have tiny dings; all seams are perfect; light foxing along the left, right, and top edges of the back slick. Personnel includes Sonny Clark, Grant Green, Butch Warren, and Billy Higgins.
