I bought this Blue Note album myself, new, from a record shop in Bracknell, on its release in 1965. 

Outstanding US jazz men support Donald Byrd and gospel choir in this unusual work.

Herbie Hancock, Freddie Roach, Grant Green, Bob Cranshaw, Grady Tate, Ernie Royal, Snooky Young, Clark Terry, JJ Johnson, Jimmy Cleveland, Jim Buffington, Don Butterfield and others, along with choir, reverberate big time in the Rudy Van Gelder Studio. 

This rare out of print (I read) LP is in mono and in VERY GOOD+ condition*, with hardly any visual evidence of having been played.  (* See ratings below.)

 The cover is in VERY GOOD condition, going by the categories copied below.  The contemporary Blue Note inner sleeve is in good condition, too, but I always provide a new modern replacement, for the next owner, anyway.

The record has clearly been played, but only very occasionally, then not at all for years. Some crackling at the start and end of disc, in between tracks and only occasionally, during tracks.  Not enough to seriously impair the listening experience, though.

 All records have been cleaned and are regarded as cleared of static here using: the German Knosti Record-cleaning kit.

 

 Vinyl condition

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. 

 VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

 GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

 Record sleeve condition

Excellent:  The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

Very Good:  Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

 Good:  The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
