Mega Rare LP of Donald Byrd - Byrd in Hand (Blue Note 4019 - mono) Original Blue and White labels with 63rd St address, Deep Groove, RVG and ear on both sides - NOT a current re-issue. One of Byrd's best early LPs also features Charlie Rouse, Pepper Adams, Walter Davis Jr. Sam Jones and Art Taylor in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is has lots of marks that will make noise - Snap, Crackle, Pop! Played through on my set, but with excessive surface noise throughout - not for the audiophile in any way - you will definitely hear a lot of noise on this one. There is a bit of writing on both labels. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear and a bit of writing on the front cover. NO splits, NO tape, NO stickers, NO stamps. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see at any price or condition?
