Donald Byrd - Byrd´s Eye View LP
Transition. J4. Black/Gold label. Mono. USA 1956.
Plastic bag inner sleeve.
First press. No booklet.
Graded cover/record VG/VG
Laminated front cover has some color stains around edges, most on top and bottom on back.
It comes from after removing and cleaning old red tape.
Bent bottom right corner and some part of spine surface is lost on bottom. No splits. Labels has some spindle marks. Vinyl surface has lost a bit of it´s shine.
There are a few very small surface marks.
Most of the record plays excellent and clean but A2 and B1 has background noise,
of which B1 is partly louder in the foreground as there was dirt in the grooves.

Ultrarare original hard bop LP on the rare Transition label with Don Byrd as leader, with a stunning company.
A great pleasure to listen too despite the parts with flaws, with the exception o a buít on B1.
