Description

Blue Note BST 84319.  Fancy Free.  The cover grades VG++ with the only issue being a small nick along the album opening side on the back.  Overall, visually the record is clean and glossy with the exception of 2 parallel marks on side 1.  These appear to have been caused by something other than a needle.  These marks do not cause any surface noise they are a cosmetic problem only.  Without these marks I would have given the record a VG++ visual grade so reduce the grade to what makes sense to you.  A play grade is near mint.  More Donald Byrd records have been listed.
When the surface condition of the record needs to be seen I provide at least 1 photo.  I take the photos outside on a bright sunny day.  I angle the record toward the sun for the greatest visibility.  No 1000 watt light bulb is as good as the sun in disclosing flaws.
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  The USPS created unnecessary chaos on 1/25/2021.  Europe no longer has consistent pricing, it varies from country to country.  Finland is $3.75 more than Sweden.  Does that make sense?  No, it doesn't.  The UK, France, Germany and a few others have a lower rate.  It's not possible for me to match every country with the correct rate.  I've had to use the highest rate across the board.  If your country ends up being dramatically lower I'll refund the difference.  You can refer to USPS.com to check their rates.
GRADING
Near Mint or Mint Minus:  My top grade.  The record or cover will show the most minimal of wear.  The record will have top gloss.  The cover will be free from any ring wear, splits, or handwriting.
VG++ :  Not quite Near Mint but a super clean, desirable record.
VG+ :  The record or cover will show signs of wear but no significant defects.
VG  :  Obvious signs of wear but the record still has life in it.  VG does not mean beat.
VG Minus  :  The record or cover will show moderate to heavy wear.  For a common record this would not be an acceptable grade.  For an in-demand, rare record it should be considered.
Good  :  Very heavy wear.  This grade would only be acceptable if the record is rare enough that you might not see another copy available for sale or it's a rare record at a low price.
