Donald Byrd Off To The Races BLUE NOTE BLP 4007 Original 1959 vinyl LP Jazz


Vinyl: VG vinyl is covered in hairlines and a few slightly deeper scratches - play tested - some surface noise is constant in the play back, but on some tracks (with the sax and drums and everything playing) it is hardy noticeable, but in some slower sections (for example the quieter and more spacious track “When Your Love Has Gone” or during a bass solo) the surface noise is more constant.  There are no loud pops and NO skips or repeats, but a constant light surface rustling. Visually the record looks bad, but actually plays ok.


Jacket: VG+ some staining on back of jacket (see pictures). Light shelf wear. Seams and spine are all strong!


Blue Note BLP 4007. Mono. 1959. Original Rare 1st press! (vinyl is black - eBay listing is automatically adding "Blue Vinyl" special attribute because "vinyl" and "blue note" are in title and will not let me take it off)
