Donald Byrd-Mustang LP Blue Note BST-84238 Stereo 1st Pressing Van Gelder.

This Is The 1st Pressing Of The 1966 Release In Stereo. Both Sides Have The “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC•NEW YORK USA” Label. Both Runouts Have “BNST-84238•A/B” Matrix And VAN GELDER Stamp.

The Record Has A Fair Amount Of Wear w/Mostly Light Scuffs And Scratches. Plays w/No Skips But Has A Few Pops Throughout. The Music Plays Through Strong w/Some Background Noise Most Prominent On The Sole Ballad “I Got It Bad And That Ain’t Good”. I’ll Grade It(VG) But Still Consider It Pleasurable. If You Are A Fan Of Great Jazz This Is A Blue Note Classic. Background Noise Critics Need Not Apply.

The Cover Is In Solid Condition(VG+).
