This listing is for a Donna Summer 12-inch Picture Disc titled "Donna Summer - The Best Of Live and More"
Catalog #NBPIX 7119, 1978 Casablanca Records & Filmworks, Printed in U.S.A.
Seller is the Original Owner. This picture disc comes with the original die-cut cover, with an inner plastic sleeve. It is still factory sealed. The shrink wrap is in good condition with no tears or holes observed. There is a small retailer price sticker on the upper right front corner.
It has been securely boxed in an upright position and stored in a smoke free environment. The cover is in NM condition. The vinyl disc has never been taken from its sleeve and has never been played. It is assumed to be in NM to Mint condition.
"Sound Quality may not be comparable to the conventional edition" is printed on the back of the sleeve. See note below regarding picture discs.
As the title hints, this picture disc is a "highlights" selection of the double album "Live And More".
Side 1: MacArthur's Park Suite, MacArthur Park, One of A Kind, Heaven Knows, MacArthur Park (Reprise)
Side 2: Try Me I Know We Can Make It, Love to Love You, Baby, I Feel Love, Last Dance
Note: Picture discs consist of a solid core that has a paper image placed over it. The core and photo are then covered with clear vinyl and the grooves are pressed on top of them using traditional record presses. The manufacturing process uses less vinyl in the grooves than standard records, and often yields less-than-optimal sound quality. Most picture discs are produced as limited edition products, generally targeted at collectors.
