Description
Donovan – HMS Donovan 2- Disk vinyl LP (1971)
British singer/songwriter Donovan’s second album of children’s music released only in the UK July 1971 (Dawn Records DNLD 4001 (stereo)).Produced by Donovan with contributions by Mickie Most, it contains the single Celia of the Seals and many children’s poems set to music, including the works of Lewis Carroll, Sidney Carter and W.B.Yeates. The beautiful cover art is credited to Patrick with Sidney Maurer as Art Director.
The discs are in very good condition, while the paper sleeves themselves are brown and wrinkled as befits their age. The cover is in tack with no tears and only 3-4 little white specks on the front. There is wearing on the edges and some bending right in the corners. The inside cover is foxed at the top and down the middle; it blends in with the colors of the paintings.
This record has never been played by the current owner.
