Description

Donovan

HMS Donovan

1971 Dawn Records

Catalogue Number DNLD 4001

Classic psychedelic folk rock double album complete with unused/unmounted poster. VERY RARE.

This is a first press on the Dawn record label. It has the 1st press  Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd gatefold sleeve.

Condition

Vinyl

The record visually grades as excellent, with no spindle marks, a nice glossy sheen to the heavyweight vinyl, and only one or two of the very lightest hairline surface marks. It plays superbly aswell, with no sticking, no hiss, and only a bit of crackle every now and then in the quieter parts (mainly between tracks)

Sleeve

The sleeve grades as excellent too, with only very small signs of wear, namely some very minor wear to the corners and the opening edge. The spine is really nice and straight, with no wear and all the writing still clear and bold.

Poster

The poster has never been mounted and is in near mint condition. It folds out twice so is basically the size of 3 lps. 12x36"
