Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits
- This is the Stereo version of the original 1966 release.
- It has the yellow Epic label.
- This NM copy has spindle marks but the playing surfaces are clean.
- The paper on board cover has tight seams and very little wear.
- This 50 year old record is a one-owner. Seller got this new in his store in 1969. It has been in storage for 47 years.
These recordings mark a distinct change in Donovan's music, representing some of the first psychedelia released. A full rock band backs up Donovan on many of the songs, and the instrumentation has been expanded to include sitar and other unique musical instruments. This change is partially the result of working with producer Mickie Most, whose pop sensibilities led to chart hits for many other artists at the time.
