Description

B/w "Tell Me You Love Me."  This original very rare 78 rpm record is probably "one of a kind".  My dad went to Mineola high school on Long Island, with members Donald Fields & Rowland Pinkney.  They were friends with Edward Palatella, who was the lead singer, now departed.  He and his friends, John Hooper and Peter Rocco were out of nearby Port Washington.  Hence, the label.  These guys were one of the first interracial singing groups, along with the Crests, & Del Vikings.  Eddie & Jackie have signed both sides of this record, whereas Donny & Roland signed the "There goes My Girl" side.  Peter Rocco did not sign this record.  The fifth signature looks like Bubby Cerfain.  Though I would love to know who he was, I'm uncertain.  Perhaps he was filling in back in 1958, or had something to do with production.  My father held this record safely all these years.  Rarely do you see autographed doo wop records/memorabilia like this.  It is a VG/VG+ record by most collector standards.  Still in original paper sleeve.  A unique addition to any 78 collection with group members having signed the record label.  Both sides play without any skips, though there is the normal wear from a played 60+ year old record.  I'm including Priority shipping with insurance for domestic buyers.  Please see pics & ask any questions before bidding.
