Description
This is a one of a kind, never before released 33+1/3 record album. This is the only recording of these songs sung by the original members of The Four Coins that exists today. Under the label it says "audiodisco recording blank". Recorded in New York City with a full orchestra, recorded in 1965 by the original members of The Four Coins who had the 1957 million selling hit Shangri La. During the peak years of their career they won Act of the Year in 1963 and had already recorded the million selling 1957 hit Shangri La. The Four Coins had other hits like Memories of You and My One Sin. They did USO tours and performed on TV shows like the Perry Como show, Ed Sullivan, Dick Clark, and others.
No other recordings of these songs sung by this group exists, guaranteed. I am not a record collector expert and I thought this was vinyl but someone said this is an acetate. See the letter below from one of the members. This album consists of 10 songs (includes 2 medleys) as listed:

The following letter will be included as well as a copy of a photo of The Four Coins, signed by one of the secondary members, Al Prince. He wrote "I am getting up in years and I can't take any of it with me!". Al wrote "these beautiful songs and lush sounding arrangements were recorded with a full orchestra in NYC in 1965. If you are any kind of true collector, I'm sure you will agree that this very unique and one of a kind album is well worth it! (approx $7,000-$10k+). And, the truth of the matter is that the value will keep increasing as time goes by! ..should frame this for preservation...enough said... Thank you for your time and interest!" Sincerely, Al Prince.
(this letter from Al will be included with the purchase) All the songs on this album sound clear except for just one song, Doo-wah-diddy, it does not skip and you can still hear the words, but can also hear an audible scratchy sound in the background when the needle plays on just that part of the record. Doesn't interfere with the play of the record, just the sound on that one song.
