Elektra (Mono) LP EKL-4024 "Waiting For The Sun" by The Doors. G++ condition. There are a few visible, feelable, and audible blemishes to the vinyl and label damage (tear, mildew-foxing--see picture) on Side One. The record plays through with no skips. There is surface noise, most noticeable during quiet passages. Having said that, this is not an unpleasant listening experience. Cover is VG. I found this record 2-3 years ago and there was some mustiness to the cover and one side of the record had some moisture damage. I cleaned it rather obsessively at that time, stored it in a plastic sleeve with several unscented dryer sheets, and completely forgot about it. What has emerged is not a voodoo regeneration of Jim Morrison (shucks!) , but a record that has little-to-no mildew odor, and, I think, is an acceptable copy of the rare mono mix of this classic record. Matrix # Side One: EKL-4024 A -1B with a "T" in the dead wax, but not part of the Matrix, Matrix # Side B: EKL-4024B-1B, also a "T" in the dead wax.
