Doors Strange Days Album UK Elektra EKL4014 Mono

The record is in excellent condition. It is clean, flat and very shiny. Under bright light there are quite a few light wispy marks that make little or no contribution to the sound. There is barely any background crackle during run ins and between most tracks but there is some light noise between a couple of tracks (tracks 2 & 3 side one, in particular). This is not audible during the music and may be removable with a professional clean. The sound is excellent throughout: there are no pops, sticks or jumps and the lp is completely distortion free.
The labels are in excellent condition. There are spindle marks indicating a number of plays but no wear to the hole and no writing, rips tears stickers etc.
The cover is in excellent condition. The laminate is very clean and shiny. There is some light corner wear and some slight wear to the opening but nothing significant. There are no splits or tears and no major wear. This is a very nice copy.
The Lyric Inner is in at least very good condition. It has a few light creases and some wear to the top, but no splits or tears. This is much the best copy of this that I have seen. Most are rather tired looking and this is certainly not that.
This is not quite a mint copy but it doesn't fall too far short and what flaws it does have are largely cosmetic. It plays beautifully throughout and visually you do have to look for the marks. I don't think that any but the most exacting of collectors will be disappointed with this one.
