Description
This 12" 33 1/3rpm vinyl LP is:
DOREEN SHAFFER
THE FIRST LADY OF REGGAE
Issued in UK by Economy SECO-31 in 1970.
Economy was a subsidary of Pama/Unity Records.
CONDITION
Record is visually excellent with no marks or scratches visible in normal light. Under a very strong light there are lots of fine marks. These appear to be light storage marks common through being stored without an inner sleeve. Record has had few plays only, not a party in sight for this baby!
Play grade side 1 VG++ with only light occasional background noise.
Play grade side 2 is VG- with slightly longer background noise than side1, mainly on tracks 1+2.
No clunks or bumps, light background noise only.
A common fault with budget pressings is that even the finest marks can be heard and the sound quality is never up to the standard of major labels. Even so this is a rarely found record and very difficult to find better.
Sleeve is VG+ with no tears, light handling and storage wear only.
Labels are as scans with initial on one side.
Inner sleeve provided is Discwasher VRP for top quality protection.
