Description


This is a rare, original 12" promotional LP that was pressed for movie theater operators, radio stations and press, to promote 1959 Doris Day/Rock Hudson film "Pillow Talk."
This came from the estate of a movie theater owner.
Doris introduces herself and the movie, and talks about the songs she sings -- "Pillow Talk" itself is the first song that comes up. She discusses the plot of the film, and how they got Rock Hudson to sing on camera for the first time. His song "Inspiration" is included as well, and the nightclub song "Roly Poly," etc.
The circular cardboard outer cover is bright -- a shocking pink "pillow" -- and intact, although there is a fold on the very top. Please see the photos...
The record itself plays well, no apparent issues. Side B is blank.
