Description
This is Regent MG-6039 Dorothy Ashby - The Jazz Harpist, an original teal label, deep groove mono issue of this exteremely rare piece featuring Frank Wess, Ed Thigpen and Wendell Marshall. The record is in a strong VG++ condition, with only very few light marks keeping this from being near mint. The music plays quietly throughout with no distortion or skips. The labels show light spindle marks. The glossy cover shows only slight edge wear and is excellent and intact. A fine collector's grade copy of this rare piece with no reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months.
