Description

The signing on the cover is faded / indistinct. No mater. It's also signed on the inner sleeve which wasn't exposed to the sun / elements is plenty strong. Plus it's personalized to Carol (Webber). And quite a good one matching well with his classic large curving "F". The outer signature is faded which only happens with time. In this case around 60 years.  Besides, this LP with the dance contest sticker and is rare enough and in ex plus condition to be well worth the starting bid alone. So you may well be happy with it alone. It's a shame I have to waste time and space telling you what should be obvious. The value is probably nearly the same with or without the signing. With no COA, Ebay asks for provenance. Which is what I'm trying to convey to you. This came out of the Carol Webber Estate. She had several Philly Stars , contest LPs which she entered and I believe that's how she became known to so many local stars. That and her attendance to Bandstand and Steel Pier, Atlantic City Concerts. I really hate to give this one up. Beautiful cover. Lp is from around 1960. Early high gloss thick cardboard first pressing for sure. I wouldn't mind someone bidding it up a little but I'k OK whatever it sells for.
