COVER  No writing or tears. Minor scuffing at corners. No seam splits. Some minor creases around perimeter with a very minimum lifting of laminate but no damage to surface. Some evidence of ring stain but in no way excessive . (Picture will confirm this!!) Reverse has some age discolouration and some minor staining but nothing serious. Overall in really good condition, considering its age

INNER SLEEVE  Seam split to base to about half its length. Some age discolouration. No writing or other tears. Original cover advertising 'Emitex' and advice on how to 'Take good care of your microgroove records.....'

VINYL  Side 1 XAX 27929-1N. Some surface scratches (3or 4) but only light and none felt with the back of a fingernail. Some finger prints and light stains so would probably benefit from a clean

             Side 2. XAX 2730-1N One surface scratch across track 3 which is only just detectable with back of fingernail. Three other hairline surface scratches which are not detectable with back of fingernail. Some prints and smudges, so again would benefit from a clean

LABELS  Both extremely clean with crisp, clear print and no writing or stains. Some spindle traces.

INSERTS Not applicable

COMMENTS Overall, considering it is nearly 50 years old, a really good example of, what is, a rare album. I am confident that if you buy this album you will not be disappointed.



I am in the process of selling off my personal collection of  vinyl from the very early
60’s through to the 80’s. I am not a dealer but other interests (AKA - funding old age) mean the collection must go (along with lots of other stuff). My records were important to me and they were well cared for, sympathetically stored and never taken to parties or loaned out.  If the record is not from my collection I will make reference to that in the comments section. Where applicable, RC criteria is used when a grading is given. I have tried to be conservative  (after taking professional advice) but totally honest. Most of the records have not been played for some time (I no longer have a player) so the description is limited to a visual examination, and the vinyl would probably benefit from being cleaned in a professional manner. Any ‘deposits’ other than dust will be mentioned. If you decide to purchase one of my collection I want you to be completely satisfied and hope it will continue to give maximum enjoyment.

I have put in as much detail as is possible regarding the condition of cover, inner sleeve, labels, vinyl and inserts (where applicable) and have not described them as something they are not. However a buyer can rest assured that the records have always been kept in a pet-free and smoke-free environment

The records will be sent out in record mailers with two stiffeners. Proof of postage will always be obtained with a ‘recorded signed for’  for both of our protection

If you are in any way dissatisfied with the transaction, I would ask that you, first of all, give me the opportunity to put it right and this would include a refund if I have, in any way, misrepresented the condition of your purchase. This would be dependent on the return of the item in the condition in which it was sent and you contact me within 48 hours of receipt of item. I can not envisage this happening as I have not hyped up the condition of my records as this is of no benefit to anyone.

Items need to be paid for within 7 days of bid being accepted. If this is a problem please contact me before you bid. I will make every effort to dispatch items within 3 working days of payment being cleared (Royal Mail first class). Overseas buyers by PAYPAL only. Items over £40 will be insured (Royal Mail Special Delivery or Airsure) and this will be added to P and P so please wait for invoice before sending payment.

If you do not accept these conditions in total, or are not happy with a visual examination only, then please do not bid. If there are any points which you deem to be important then please contact me before bidding. Better to find out first than be disappointed later!
