Description

Dr John In The Right Place LP Atco PROMO 1973 Tri-Fold 1st Meters Psych Funk Holmes art D'WAX
Dr. John, aka, The Night Tripper, In The Right Place, Atco Records #SD 7018.ReRecords #9002, Original vintage 1973. Stereo.  Promo, hype sticker, stated on the label. Amazing Try-Fold / Gatefold unfolding cover, with incredible psych art by James Flournoy Holmes. Original Inner paper Atco/Atlantic sleeve. Atco - 1941 Broadway address. DEADWAX: Side ONE: (hand etched): ST-C- 722709-B AT/DK PR Side TWO: (hand etched): ST-C- 722710-B AT/GP PR Unusual to see one side AT/DK and the other AT/GP.

All Records are cautiously spot audio checked, and cleaned and viewed under bright light.

Gradings Parameters: Good / Very Good / Very Good or better / Excellent / Excellent or better / Near Mint / Mint.
Condition:  **The Record PLAYS in-between strong Excellent or Excellent plus Condition, except for Life, cut 1 on Side 2, which has a percussive 'schhhhk schhhk' secondary sound that almost is along with and goes into the groove for the first 8th of the song and then just fine (the song rated Very Good or better). The record has no finger feel scratches,  no surface scratches, no surface marks, beautiful clean bright shiny black vinyl, plays quiet in the quiet sections and sounds full in the up-tempo sections.  The record has been in my storage from the time shortly after release barely played - less than a handful of times, until it's now seen the light of day with this audio test. The sound on the side two cut is most likely inherent in the pressing. * The Cover is in-between strong Excellent to Near Mint Condition, no slit or drill holes, no split seams, beautiful spine and edges, no shelf or ring-wear of the corners, a minute 'flea' sized ding at one corner, promo hype sticker on the front, with the soft historic wear and patina of age and life. * Original inner Atco/Atlantic paper sleeve with slits at two seams.  *The label is in Near Mint or better Condition, no spindle marks.
